Leicester cannot afford to drop points at the King Power Stadium and they were not about to throw in the towel against the Blues. Chelsea took the lead with an early goal from Chilwell but the Foxes managed to equalise thanks to Daka's 39th minute strike.

Leicester were stunned by Chelsea after Chilwell put the Blues ahead with a lovely volley. However, the Foxes desperately needed points because of their position in the table and were not about to throw in the towel.

The home side equalised in the 39th minute thanks to a lovely goal from Patson Daka. Joao Felix lost the ball when Potter's team were getting the ball out from the back and Castagne found Daka on the edge of the box with a back-heeled pass. The Zambian smashed the ball from 22 yards to the near post past Kepa to score the equaliser.

If the match ended with this result the King Power Stadium side would sit 15 two points above the relegation zone.

On the other hand, Potter's side would again drop points in a Premier League match and would be seven points behind fifth-placed Liverpool.
