Cristiano Ronaldo wants to play in every game, but it looks like Andrea Pirlo will give him rest this weekend.
According to information revealed by 'Sky Italia', the Portuguese striker will be on the bench for the tough game Juventus will face against Lazio.
The difficulty of the opponent means this is not an ideal game for Ronaldo to be rested in. However, Juventus have a massive Champions League last 16 second leg match on Tuesday against Porto. They lost the first leg 2-1 and so they need a goal.
This season, the 36 year-old striker has only started on the bench twice for the Italian giants. Once was in Serie A in November 2020 when he came on in the 56th minute with the score at 1-1 and scored a brace in just 20 minutes.
The other occasion was on 13th January against Genoa in the Coppa Italia. He came on in the 88th minute and Juve won it 3-2 after extra-time.
