Philippe Coutinho has a contract at Aston Villa until June 2024. He is currently looking for a club, but he is clear that, if he does not get one in Europe, he will not leave the English club.
According to 'Sport', the Brazilian has turned down the option to return to Brazil. Corinthians were interested in Coutinho, but the player is not very keen on returning to his homeland,.
Coutinho is waiting for possible offers which could receive in this market. If one comes along, he will pack his bags and move elsewhere, but if not, he will stay at Aston Villa. A move to Brazil is completely ruled out.
After making his first steps at Vasco da Gama, he moved to Europe aged 18, to Inter to be precise. Afterwards, he was at Espanyol before ending up at Liverpool. Then he made the step up to Barcelona and had a brief stay at Bayern Munich. He arrived at Aston Villa in the middle of the 2021-22 campaign and now the only thing he knows is that he will not return to the Brazilian league.
