After a poor season, 'AS' reported that the Valencia president, Anil Murthy, has reportedly put several players up for sale like Rodrigo Moreno, Dani Parejo and Francis Coquelin.
The news caused lots of upset at the Mestalla, but 'Marca' announced this Wednesday that the president may struggle to sell some players.
Parejo, for example, still has two years left on his contract and as he is 31, he is less attractive for some clubs. His buyout clause is 50 million euros.
Coquelin gets around seven million euros and as 'Marca' says, due to the fact they spent 12 million to get him to Valencia, any offer of less than six million would see the club go into the red.
Therefore, Valencia could find it difficult to reduce high salaries and fill the club's coffers with possible movements. At the moment, we will have to wait until the club comments on the transfer window situation.
