The game had gotten off to a quick start, with Emerson Hyndman finding the net in the first nine minutes, with Jermain Defoe doubling the tally almost immediately.
It didn't take too long to hit back though, with Levante's Roger Marti and Emanuel Boateng both getting on the score sheet.
For the first goal, Hyndman was able to get the final touch after some strong team play, striking a Simon Francia cutback into the net.
The second goal came from an attack down the left.
Defoe was able to out pace his marker in order to flick home Ryan Fraser's cross from short range.
Marti was able to curl his effort in, halving the deficit, before Boateng's run and well-placed finish put Levante on equal footing.
Levante took the lead through another Marti goal, as he was able to latch onto a through ball and fire in a tight angled shot.
Bournemouth's equaliser came just before half-time, as Jack Simpson was able to nod home from Mahoney's corner.
Eddie Howe made 11 changes at half-time, which slowed the tempo somewhat in the second half.
Marc Pugh was unfortunate not to score, as his cross was cleared, and then a great volley saved.
However, Cook was able to ensure a Cherries victory just five minutes before full-time, leaving the score at 4-3 and ending the La Manga training camp on a high note.
Bournemouth will now return to the UK for friendlies with Bristol City and Nottingham Forest.
They'll then host Real Betis and Marseille before their Premier League opener with Cardiff City at home on August 11.
