Controversy at Elche: Was it a handball by Alba?

Elche opened the scoring thanks to a Fidel goal just before the break. Ferran Torres and Memphis Depay hit back in the second half to complete Barcelona's comeback.

The Catalan club took all three points from the match, although the game ended in controversial fashion. This is because on 87 minutes, the ball struck Jordi Alba's arm in the Barcelona box.

The Elche players screamed at the referee asking for a penalty but Hernandez Hernandez felt that Alba's arm was in a natural position and the penalty shouts were waived away. The decision insighted boos from the crowd at the Martinez Valero. 

Pastore, who was on the Elche bench, questioned the referee about his decision and the official responded by sending him off. The player was left with egg on his face.
