City to shield Braaf amidst German interest

The youngster is 17 years old and has shined not only because of his performances in England but also on the international stage. He is a regular in the Dutch youth sides and could make the first team in a few years.

He still hasn't made his debut with the first team, but you can already see his future potential. According to the 'Daily Mail', several German clubs have taken note of him, although their names haven't been given.

What is known is that City don't want him to leave so easily and want to shield his contract. The key would be giving him a higher release clause and maybe a contract extension- the current one ends in 2023.

An offer could come in for him in the winter market, but given City's initial refusal to let him go, conversations will be quite complicated. Furthermore, the youngster has never played for another team: he will have to be convinced.
