Manchester City retained their Women's FA Cup title by beating Everton 3-1 in the final behind closed doors at Wembley by scoring twice in extra time.
The team managed by Gareth Taylor had to wait in the 50th women's cup final, with goals from Georgia Stanway (111th minute) and Janine Beckie (122nd minute), to with their third title.
Beforehand, hey hadn't been able to profit from the early lead that American international Sam Mewis gave them. France striker Valerie Gauvin equalised for Everton on the hour mark in their first cup final in six years as they hunted down a third title.
The victory means that the dominance of 'the big three' continues. City, Arsenal, and Chelsea have won all of the available trophies in England since 2014, when Liverpool won the league.
