City beat Chelsea to Edozie

At just 16 years old, Edozie had caught the attention of several great European clubs. Bayern Munich, Dortmund and Leipzig asked about him but in the end, it was just Chelsea and City left in the race. 

Finally, according to 'The Sun', it is Manchester City who have finally got hold of the 16 year-old winger. And the thing is despite his youth, he has already played at older age group levels. 

Chelsea tried to persuade Edozie by bringing him to Cobham, Chelsea's training ground. The first team player Ruben Loftus-Cheek was waiting for him. However, it does not seem like it was enough. 

According to the cited media outlet, Manchester City have signed the player this Saturday for slightly more than 670,000 euros, although with extras it could go up to 2.2 million.
