City are keeping a close eye on Oyarzabal, Pep's big desire

Despite being under contract with Real Sociedad until 2024, Mikel Oyarzabal has no shortage of suitors. According to the website 'TEAMtalk', Manchester City are keeping a close eye on the 24-year-old left winger. 

Apparently, it is Pep Guardiola who would like to have the Spanish player in his team, which is why he has not hesitated to ask the club to go for his signature in the next winter transfer window.

The English club have been monitoring the player for several seasons now, but according to the aforementioned media outlet, City's scouts have intensified their work at the start of the current campaign. 

And the reason is none other than the great performance he is offering at Real Sociedad. Oyarzabal has already scored four goals in the six official matches he has played, taking his tally at the club to 68 goals in 245 games.

Of course, it will not be easy to get the Spaniard out of Real, as he is one of the most important players in the squad and the institution does not intend to let him leave for less than 75 million euros, the figure at which his buyout clause is set.
