Chelsea to let Loic Remy exit the club

The French striker will travel to China with the rest of the Chelsea squad, but his future is not tied to the club. Once Conte signs his new centre-forward, Loic Remy will be allowed to leave.

Having joined from QPR in 2014, the Frenchman has made only 32 league appearances and was loaned out to Crystal Palace last season, but suffered an ankle injury which restricted him to five league fixtures.

Remy has 12 months left on his contract and knows his opportunities at Stamford Bridge are limited. Marseille, Southampton and Everton are all likely destinations for the former Newcastle man.
