Chelsea are not backing down over Onana. Last week, the Blues had their €40 million bid for Inter's keeper rejected by the Italians but they have returned with a raised offer.
The London side are now looking to tempt Inter with a two-player swap in order to secure Onana for next season. Several outlets had reported that Chelsea had already agreed personal terms with the 27-year-old who appears to look favourably on a move to the Premier League.
The two sides had already entered discussion about the future of Romelu Lukaku, who is on loan from Chelsea and has had a much better time in Italy than he ever has in London, and it appears he would be keen to stay another season.
Now, 'The Sun' report that Maurcio Pochettino's side are willing to add another player into the deal: Kalidou Koulibaly. The defender has looked likely to leave the London side for a while now, and Chelsea would be more than happy to see him go, if it helped them lock down Onana.
Inter have already found a replacement for Onana in Empoli's Guglielmo Vicario and are pushing to sign him, which could massively improve Chelsea's cause this summer.
