Napoli beat Milan and Paris Saint-Germain to sign Tiémoué Bakayoko, who doesn't have a place in the Chelsea squad this season.
The club reported the deal with the Blues on Monday, the last day of the transfer market: the 26-year-old midfielder is on loan to the San Paolo team until June 2021.
Bakayoko took part in 43 matches during the 2017-18 season in his first year at Chelsea, ending the year with a total of three goals and three assists.
During the last two seasons he played on loan at Milan and Monaco, so it is clear that he was not one of the most important players in Frank Lampard's plans.
Milan and PSG also showed interest in him, but in the end it was Napoli who took the player and announced the signing on the last day of the 2020 transfer market.
