Atletico Madrid want to put an end to the Joao Felix transfer saga. The 'Colchoneros' hope to close his transfer to Chelsea soon after several days of intense negotiations with the Blues.
The first proposal for the striker did not satisfy the economic pretensions of the Spanish team. After Atletico's rejection, the English side would have substantially improved their offer, according to Ruben Uria to 46 million euros fixed to which should be added the add-ons (around 15).
Taking into account that Atletico do not count on Joao Felix and that they need to sell him to be able to bring in Conor Gallagher, it is logical to think that the deal will be sealed in the next few days. In the meantime, both players are with their respective teams.
Joao Felix trained normally with Atletico on Thursday, while Gallagher had to return to London to train with the Blues, with whom he has already passed his pre-season medical. Before returning to England, according to the British press, Diego Pablo Simeone had a conversation with the midfielder and promised him that his club would do everything in their power to sign him for the 2024-25 season.
