Cesc Fabregas will not sign for Las Palmas

There will not be a big signing in this transfer window, at least not for now. Midfielder Cesc Fabregas will not sign for Las Palmas after negotiations have been active for several weeks. 

Former president Miguel Angel Ramirez confirmed on Thursday to 'Que T'hi Jugues' that the club have not managed to reach an agreement with the former Barcelona man. 

"Cesc Fabregas will not play at Las Palmas. We have been negotiating for three weeks, but his priorities are others," he said. 

The former Las Palmas president said a few days ago that the option "was a real one", but as everything was just "40%" done, it has proved unable to be completed. 

Las Palmas got excited about this possibility, although they were also aware that it was a very difficult signing to pull off. In addition, Cesc Fabregas has other offers on the table, and Miguel Ángel Ramirez admitted that "an important competitor" had joined the race.
