"Cesar Montes will adapt quickly to Espanyol"

Cesar Montes' signing by Espanyol will have the approval of his teammate Hector Moreno. The 34-year-old Mexican player spoke to 'AS' about his team's interest.

"Something I knew last summer that there was interest and that he was close to moving. Although selfishly, I was glad he stayed the previous season. I appreciate him a lot and Espanyol will be very good for him," said the defender.

Hector Moreno was asked about Cesar Montes' ability to adapt and he replied that he does not think he will have any problems adapting to Spanish football, to La Liga and to Espanyol.

Previously, he spoke to 'Sport' and he assured that he has the goal of going to Europe. He also said that he kept his word by renewing with his previous side.
