Celtic sign Toulouse defender Jullien

Celtic have got their summer business underway with the signing of powerful defender Jullien from French side Toulouse.

The centre-back joins on a four-year deal after the clubs agreed a fee believed to be in the region of £7 million.

Celtic boss Neil Lennon has expressed his delight at landing the 26 year-old, who made over 100 appearances across three years at Toulouse.

He said: 'We are absolutely delighted to bring Christopher to Celtic. 

'He is a quality player with great attributes and we are very much looking forward to him joining the squad and working with him".

'I know the players will be delighted to welcome him into the squad and I know he will be keen to play his part in the seasons ahead as we look to deliver further success for our supporters", Lennon added.
