Celta Vigo without Cervi for rest of season

Argentinian winger Franco Cervi will miss the last two La Liga matches for Celta Vigo after an X-ray showed "he had "a fracture to the fourth toe of his left foot."

The former Benfica footballer got injured in the final game against Barcelona after being stepped on with some force, Celta Vigo's medical services are down to just 12 first team players to face Elche. 

Cervi's absence is the latest after Hugo Mallo, Kevin Vazquez and Nolito so Eduardo Coudet will have to resort to the B team to make up the numbers. 

Celta Vigo have got the done with games to spare. The fact Elche have also survived means that the match has been brought forward to Saturday 14th May.
