Celta Vigo prepare blockbuster Mandzukic deal

Mario Mandzukic could return to La Liga. According to 'COPE Vigo', Celta Vigo are preparing a bid to bring the Croatian superstar striker to Spain.

Mandzukic is without a team after running down his contract at Al-Duhail, where he only played nine games last season after leaving Juventus.

The Croatian striker is, as a result, contractless at the age of 34. It would be a surprising move for Celta who did the same last season when they brought in Smolov.

Celta Vigo still haven't found a solid striker up top for them. The team has scored just six goals in their last nine games, with four of them coming through Iago Aspas.

The club are also looking for a new manager right now. Oscar Garcia was sacked and Eduardo Coudet is best positioned to take his place.
