Celta Vigo look for Dituro's replacement

Matías Dituro has one more than foot out of Celta Vigo. The plan contemplated by Celta for next season does not consider the continuity of the goalkeeper. The club is not willing to execute the purchase option with Universidad Catolica of Chile for the Argentine, but to look for a replacement with more projection.

Dituro was one of the protagonists of the last matchday played against Espanyol in La Liga. Celta lost again 1-0, which means they have now gone their thirteenth game of the season without scoring a goal. However, this defeat does not become the trigger for the board to want to dispense with the player in goal. 

The question is that the team managed by Coudet is not willing to pay almost one and a half million euros, approximately, for the goalkeeper.

With a view to next season, Celta have two goalkeepers with current contracts. Ivan Villar will return from his loan spell with Leganes. In addition, Rubén Blanco has signed with Celta until 30 June 2023.
