Rafinha Alcantara's time at Paris Saint-Germain seems to be over. He did not travel with the team to Tokyo, where he is in pre-season, and everything points to him leaving this summer. He spent half of the 21-22 season on loan at Real Sociedad, with whom he played 21 games and scored one goal.
The Basques were satisfied with his performance and 'L'Equipe' assured that they would go back for him. This time it would be as a transfer and not as a loan. The Spanish club would thus finalise a market in which they have already signed Kubo, Brais Mendez and Mohamed-Ali Cho.
However, 'Estadio Deportivo' has added one more contender to the list of teams interested in Rafinha. That is Celta Vigo, the club where he excelled in the 13-14 season with ten four goals and seven assists in 33 games. He was under the orders of Luis Enrique and for the Asturian he was an important part of the Barça team in 14-15.
Currently, the Brazilian is under contract until 2023 and this will mean that PSG will not ask for much money for him. If he stays and does not renew, he could leave for free the following summer, when he is 30 years old. His market value is 3.5 million euros.
