After just six matches for 'Los Blancos' this season, Ceballos will make a return to Villamarín, his old stomping ground.
Betis manager Quique Setién has been rather outspoken on the Spaniard's lack of playtime with Madrid: "It's a shame Ceballos isn't developping his talent."
Now, in what has be deemed as a response to Setién's comments, Zidane has chosen to include Ceballos in the squad that will travel to Betis and many are certain the Andalusian midfielder will make the starting XI.
There are, however, still those who think 'Zizou' won't engage himself in such a battle of egos and will choose to keep Ceballos on the bench.
However, Zidane will be forced into making a number of changes to his side given Toni Kroos' injury and the necessity to keep legs fresh for the return fixture of the last-16 Champions League tie with PSG.
Whether Ceballos will play or not remains unknown. One thing is certain though - Ceballos could be playing in green and white rather than watching his Real Madrid team-mates from his living room.
