Matthijs de Ligt's future continues to be spoken about and new developments continue to occur. Although the footballer himself seems not to be clear where he will play next season, 'Catalunya Radio' says he will go to Barca.
"No, money's not the issue. Maybe it's not the right time, it is something I have to think about and decide on while I'm on holiday, nothing else," the Dutch defender commented to 'Mundo Deportivo'.
But, despite the fact that De Ligt still has to say "yes", Barca and Ajax have apparently reached an agreement for the transfer of the Dutch international.
According to 'Catalunya Radio', the arrival of Matthijs de Ligt to Barca is closer than before. The Catalans would pay 75 million euros to get one of the most sought after players on the market.
If this is true, Barcelona would beat other suitors like PSG to his signing. With the arrival of Leonardo, the French club seemed to be in a good position to sign the Dutchman.
