William Carvalho had been substituted in the second half and was shown the red card at the end of the match. The Portuguese player could not contain his anger and insulted the referee at the end of the match.
"It's a disgrace. You're terrible," he said. De Burgos Bengoetxea was the referee in charge of the La Liga match against Barcelona and Real Betis. According to 'El Larguero', the midfielder will have to sit out a game or two because it was not considered an insult.
Aitor Ruibal received a yellow card for protesting Raphinha's goal. The right-back criticised Bengoetxea's decisions and the referee gave him a yellow card for his protests.
As a result, William Carvalho will miss the next game against Celta Vigo and is on standby for the next game against Almeria.
