Capa took advantage of Madrid's lapse to pull one back

Real Madrid once again faltered in defence. Despite having an extra man after Raul Garcia's red, the Madrid team let themselves concede against Athletic.

Athletic took advantage of Real Madrid's defensive fragility, which they allowed them to dominate in the first minutes of the second half, and Capa's attacking run did the rest.

The Athletic wing-back arrived in the area after beating Vinicius and cutting inside which left him with Varane and Ramos at his side and only Courtois in front.

The Real Madrid goalkeeper saved the first shot but could do nothing with a rebound that came back to Capa to make it 1-1 with the left Courtois on the ground.
