Camavinga to miss European Super Cup after spraining his knee in training

The whole of Madrid fans are on tenterhooks for Camavinga. The Frenchman, during the training session prior to the European Super Cup, had to leave the session after suffering a problem in his left knee.

The No 6, theoretically a starter in midfield against Atalanta, received the ball from a teammate and, seeing the presence of Tchouameni, tried to get around him with such bad luck that he got stuck in the joint. Subsequently, his compatriot stamped on him and things took a turn for the worse.

The players and the medical services went to Camavinga's position, who cried out in pain as he put his hand to his left knee. There is even a picture in which Modric even threw his hands to his head. Eventually, the Frenchman managed to get up and left the training session under his own steam.

Minutes after the incident, 'El Mundo' journalist Abraham Romero reported that Camavinga suffers a severe sprain in his left knee, according to initial examinations. Madrid's doctors will carry out further tests to confirm the injury and to know the estimated time he will be out of action. The Frenchman will therefore miss the European Super Cup.
