Frenchman Eduardo Camavinga was forced off the pitch in the 84th minute in his side's game against Getafe after being trodden on from behind, forcing his knee into an abnormal position.
The Frenchman quickly put up his hand up to signal he needed to come off, showing immediate signs of pain. This forced Italian boss Carlo Ancelotti into changing his plan of taking off Marco Asensio.
Camavinga went straight to the bench, limping, and the medics put ice on his knee straight away, with everyone in the stadium fearing the worst in terms of the upcoming game against Man City.
After the game, Ancelotti explained that it was not as serious as inicitially feared: "He's twisted his knee, but it's just a knock, nothing more. He'll be over it very soon. He'll rest on Sunday and he'll be training from Monday no problems".
So all appears to be fine for Camavinga then, but it remains to be seen whether he'll be in the squad list for the Man City second leg this Wednesday.
