Fulham are one of the new boys in the Premier League this season, but have not hesitated in adding a lot of quality to their sqaud as they look to retain their top-flight status.
Slavisa Jokanovic has added the likes of Jean-Micahel Serri, Andre Schurrle and Aleksandar Mitrovic to his squad this summer but felt it was also important to strengthen his defensive department.
Chambers could play alongside Alfie Mawson, who also joined in this window in a deal from Swansea City, meaning that the two would re-ignite a partnership they had at at the U-21 European Championships for England in 2017.
Not only is Chambers happy to be with the group of players that are at Craven Cottage, but also thinks that the way the team plays will fit perfectly with his footballing style.
"Everyone can see that Fulham's a club that likes to play football, play football from the back, through the lines. That's the style of football I like as well, so I think it fits me and suits the way I play."
