Cádiz interested in Yaya Touré

Clubs continue to rush their options to bring new players into the squad on deadline day.

And Cádiz, who drew against Granada on Sunday (1-1), could be about to star in what would be undoubtedly one of the most random signings of this window.

According to the 'BBC', the Spanish side are reportedly interested in the signing of ex-Barcelona and Manchester City player Yaya Touré, who is currently without a team.

At 37, the Ivorian centre-midfielder could return to Spanish football after being almost a year without playing an official match: he hasn't done so since 2nd November 2019, on the third matchday of the Chinese League, during his spell as a Qingdao Huanghai player. 

Cádiz, the aforementioned media says, would offer Yaya Touré a deal until June 2021, so he would end his contract when he is 38.
