Johann Berg Gudmundsson leaves Charlton Athletic for Burnley on a three-year deal for £2.5 million.
Gudmundsson played for Iceland at Euro 2016. His team reached the quarter-finals but lost against France.
Gudmundsson is the second summer signing for the Premier League club.
The 25-year-old joined Charlton in 2014 from AZ Alkmaar and netted 16 times in 81 appearances.
Gudmundsson announced via Burnley's website:
"The atmosphere around the club is fantastic and playing against the team last season I saw just how good the club was - I definitely wanted to join.
"The team spirit in the Iceland team seems to be similar to here where everybody is working for each other and it's a tight group.
"That's what football is about, it's a team sport and everyone works hard for one another here.
"Johann, we feel, is a quality player who we saw last season playing at Charlton in a tough time and we liked the quality he showed.
"It helps to see a player in the European Championships with that kind of company and he did well there so it was one we all agreed would be a good acquisition for the club and we look forward to working with him going forward".
