Brentford are close to agreeing a deal with Mark Flekken to replace David Raya next season, according to 'Bild'. The Dutch goalkeeper will be signed by the Premier League club in the next transfer window.

David Raya will leave Brentford at the end of the season. As a result, the board are negotiating the transfer of a new goalkeeper for next campaign.

According to 'Bild', Mark Flekken, who plays for Freiburg, is the main contender to replace the Spanish goalkeeper at Brentford. Although Freiburg could reach the European places, the Dutchman prefers to join the Premier League.

The same media outlet reports that they are in "advanced talks" to close the deal. Moreover, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the English side are willing to pay his buyout clause of 13 million euros.

Thomas Frank's side are in ninth place on 53 points but still have two games in hand - against Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.
