Brazil is beginning to pave the way for Tite's departure. In fact, he already has an expiry date, after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. This was confirmed by Juninho Pernambucano, coordinator of the Brazilian Football Confederation, to 'Globo Esporte'.
Thus, the CBF begins to look for the man to replace its current coach. 'Marca' indicated that Pep Guardiola is the chosen one, despite the fact that the coach has not said he will leave Manchester City.
The latest source quoted claims that Brazil have offered the Citizen coach 12 million euros for each of the years he remains at the helm of the Canarinha until the next World Cup in 2026.
It is a notoriously lower amount than what he currently receives at Manchester City, around 20 million euros a year. The big question is, beyond whether Guardiola himself will accept, when he would start.
Brazil would like the new coach to take charge of the 'Canarinha' from January, once the World Cup is over. However, they could wait until the end of the season to get the Spanish coach.
