Lionel Messi's Barcelona team-mate Claudio Bravo thinks that Lionel Messi should reconsider his decision to retire from international football.
Messi announced his retirement from international football after suffering a penalty shooutout loss in the Copa America final to the hands of Chile. The match finished 0-0 after extra-time and Chile went on to take the crown, winning 4-2 on a penalty shootout. Messi missed his penalty, balooning his effort over the bar whereas Bravo became Chile's hero making the all-important save from Lucas Biglia's penalty.
Bravo however, wants Messi to continue playing for the Argentinian national side and supported his club team-mate saying "For me Messi is the best player in the world. We know too well the quality of person he is. I'll take the best player in the world".
Whether Lionel Messi really does want to quit international football or was simply acting purely on emotion remains to be seen.
