Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool are set to sell Nathaniel Phillips ahead of next season. The player is currently on loan at Bournemouth and the club are interested in signing the defender on long-term deal.
The Reds have told the Cherries that they will have to pay a transfer fee of around 18 million euros if they are to secure the centre-back's signing in the summer transfer window, according to the 'Daily Express'.
Add to this the fact that the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip, Ibrahima Konate and Joe Gomez will be ahead of Phillips in the Liverpool squad for next season, and that brings him closer to a possible departure.
Although he is under contract with the Reds until the summer of 2025, the club have already received other offers for Phillips. In fact, the aforementioned media outlet reported that he had rejected an offer from Watford.
