The Premier League side announced on Sunday that they have brought in David Brooks, for an undisclosed fee.
The Welsh international was previously playing for Championship side Sheffield United, where he scored three goals in thirty league appearances.
He signs on a four-year contract, and the 'Bournemouth Echo' believe that the fee is somewhere in the region of £10m.
"We've seen enough to suggest he could be outstanding at this level," Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe said of Brooks.
"He is technically very good, has huge potential and will fit our philosophy in terms of how we want to play."
