Boro fail to agree terms with Besic

'Sky Sports News' is reporting that Middlesbrough's transfer for Muhamed Besic's fell through because the clubs could not agree wages. 

A £6m fee had been agreed for the 25-year-old, who spent last season on loan at the Riverside, however the player failed to agree personal terms with the Championship club.

Tony Pulis was keen to sign the Bosnia and Herzegovina international after selling Patrick Bamford to Leeds (£10m), Ben Gibson to Burnley (£15m) and Adama Traore to Wolves (£18m) in the past 10 days.

A 'Sky Sports News' journalist is reporting that the fee and personal terms were both agreed, however agent fees were the reason for the breakdown in talks.
