Bielsa has admitted that topping the Sky Bet Championship at such an early stage of the season doesn't mean anything.
Leeds were able to climb above Middlesbrough after extending their unbeaten spell with a 2-2 draw with Swansea.
Swansea led twice through former Leeds Academy player Oliver McBurnie, but Kemar Roofe and Pablo Hernandez were able to come up with the goods.
"We've played just a small part of the competition," Bielsa warned after Hernandez's strike in the 79th minute secured the point.
"I know it's an important position to be top of the table but it doesn't mean a lot."
Bielsa started off his tenure perfectly, becoming the first Leeds manager to win their first four games in charge.
This was also the first time that Leeds have fallen behind this season, losing Liam Cooper in the warm-up and struggling to make an impact at the start.
"It was a nice game to watch and there are some important aspects we have to correct," Bielsa admitted.
"We didn't defend very well, and this did not allow us to dominate the game with regularity."
"I think the draw is a fair result, in the last games we dominated and were better than our rivals."
"But we couldn't do the same here. Our performance had some defects, but we have got an important result because we could have lost the game as well as won it."
Swansea are also unbeaten with two wins and two draws after four games.
