Goalkeeper: Wayne Hennessey (Crystal Palace)
Despite a conceding a disappointing last-minute goal against Tottenham, the Crystal Palace keeper made some big saves during Sunday's early kick-off, as 'Spurs' dominated Roy Hodgson's side for the majority of the 90 minutes. It would have been a bigger defeat without the Welsh keeper.
Defender: Daryl Janmaat (Watford)
Watford were one of only two sides to keep a clean sheet in Gameweek 28, and Daryl Janmaat was probably the stand-out performer in his side's defence. The Dutch defender controlled the space well down the right, keeping Wayne Rooney and Gylfi Sigurdsson quiet.
Defender: Chris Smalling (Manchester United)
Chris Smalling has come under fire a bit in the past few weeks, namely in United's defeat to Newcastle at St. James' Park, but Smalling produced an impressive performance the 'Red Devils' key victory over Chelsea on Sunday, shutting down Alvaro Morata in a solid performance.
Defender: Shane Duffy (Brighton & Hove Albion)
Brighton hit four past Swansea on Saturday, and their attacking players earned a lot of praise, however just as important was the sturdy back line. Swansea threatened to come back into the game after they went down, but big man Shane Duffy snuffed out any hope of this, in a commanding display at centre-back.
Defender: Andy Robertson (Liverpool)
Andy Robertson is quickly becoming a fan favourite on Merseyside. Robertson is everything the 'Reds' have been missing at LB in the past few years: a solid, no-nonsense Scottish defender, who can put a good cross into the ball. He impressed again on Saturday, both defensively and offensively.
Midfielder: Nemanja Matic (Manchester United)
Matic made Antonio Conte rue the day that he let the Serbian DM leave Chelsea when he faced his former club at Old Trafford. Matic's new manager Mourinho was so pleased with his midfielder that he passed him a note mid-game telling him he could have 3 days off!
Midfielder: Rajiv van La Parra (Huddersfield Town)
Rajiv van La Parra , who scored the winner in the previous fixture in November, found the bottom right corner to send Huddersfield Town to a very important victory over fellow relegation candidates West Brom on Sunday. He produced a highly competent midfield performance, to the delight of David Wagner.
Forward: Mo Salah (Liverpool)
What can you say about Mo Salah that hasn't already been said? He's rapid, he's vital to Liverpool's game, and he now has 31 goals this season after scoring against West Ham. And it's February.
Forward: Glen Murray (Brighton & Hove Albion)
Glen Murray is vital to Brighton's chances of survival this season, and he showed this again on Saturday, as he bagged two goals in a big win over Swansea.
Forward: Romelu Lukaku (Manchester United)
Romelu Lukaku is another United player who has taken a good amount of abuse this season, with many people saying he doesn't show up in big games. He proved his doubters wrong against his former club Chelsea, levelling the game for United.
Forward: Roberto Firmino (Liverpool)
With all the buzz around Mo Salah, it's easy to forget Firmino, despite the fact he has 22 goals this season (after bagging another against West Ham). One person who won't forget the Brazilian is Jurgen Klopp; Firmino is key to his pressing style of play, and is the first name on the team-sheet every week.
