Goalkeeper: Bono (Girona)
The Moroccan was in fine form for the Catalan side against Villarreal, denying the 'Yellow Submarine' on a number of occasions as Girona claimed all three points.
Defender: Jonny (Celta Vigo)
The Celta academy product put in a sterling performance against Las Palmas on Monday, not only was he there to put paid to opposition attacks but he also popped up with a goal.
Defender: Gerard Pique (Barcelona)
Barca's biggest game of the season in many ways and Pique stepped up, producing the most solid of performances alongside Samuel Umtiti to keep both Diego Costa and Antoine Griezmann quiet.
Defender: Hector Moreno (Real Sociedad)
Signed as a replacement for Iñigo Martinez, Moreno has already started to impress in the Basque Country, opening the scoring at the Anoeta against Alaves.
Defender: Jose Gimenez (Atletico Madrid)
The Uruguayan was the stand out defender in a tight game at the Camp Nou. No one recovered the ball more than him, whilst he also prevented compatriot Luis Suarez from getting a real sight of goal.
Midfielder: Geoffrey Kondogbia (Valencia)
An exhibition of a performance from the Frenchman against Betis as he ran the show from the middle of the park for 'Los Che'.
Midfielder: Asier Illarramendi (Real Sociedad)
As well as his undoubted ability to spray a pass, the former Real Madrid man has also shown more goalscoring instinct this season, something which was on display once again as he scored his side's second against Alaves.
Midfielder: Franco Vazquez (Sevilla)
The playmaker has returned to something of his best under Vincenzo Montella and he took the game out of the reach of Athletic Bilbao at the weekend by doubling Sevilla's lead just five minutes after Luis Muriel's opener.
Forward: Rodrigo (Valencia)
Marcelino restored him to the starting lineup and he didn't disappoint. The Spanish international covered every blade of grass and opened the scoring against Quique Setien's side, before threatening to do the same with every counter.
Forward: Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)
The Portuguese successfully got his eye in ahead of the trip to the Parc des Princes as he scored twice as well as having another disallowed against a usually tough to break down Getafe side.
Forward: Lionel Messi (Barcelona)
The Argentine scored the 600th goal of his career with a sumptuous free-kick to give Barca victory over Atletico at the Camp Nou. A goal that could prove decisive in the title race.
