Benzema vs Ronaldo: two goals in two minutes

It was a special night for Real Madrid fans as Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema played each other as rivals after sharing the pitch on 342 occasions with the 'Blancos' shirt on. 

One at Al Ittihad and the other at Al Nassr, but both were direct protagonists of the duel as they scored within two minutes of each other. The Frenchman was the first to strike as he poked in a low cross from Al Ittihad's counter-attack from the right after 55 minutes of play.

But, Al Nassr's reaction was instant, as less than two minutes later, Cristiano Ronaldo equalised when he pushed in Angelo's cross to make it 1-1. Nerves were high in the game as the Portuguese had to calm down his former teammate after a heated argument with Otavio.

Nevertheless, it was Benzema who came out on top to claim the three points. Former Tottenham forward Bergwijn found the net in stoppage time to seal the win for league-leaders Al Ittihad, putting his side 5 points ahead of their league rivals Al Hilal and 11 points clear of Al Nassr, who trail in 4th position.
