Benzema returns home as Madrid offer to treat his injury

Real Madrid legend Karim Benzema has recently returned to the Spanish capital. The club where he spent much of his playing career have pledged to help him with his injury.

"After being in contact with the club, an agreement has been reached for the player to undergo further examinations at the Real Madrid clinic with the team that treated him during his time at the club," Al-Ittihad said on their social media.

Similarly, the club confirmed that Benzema is already in Spain, beginning his treatment: "The player has left for Madrid and will return next week."

The No.9 is back at Madrid's training complex to undergo the relevant tests and get back to his best. Not only has the player thanked Real Madrid for this great gesture, but so has Al-Ittihad, who are very appreciative of the fact that they have offered to help Karim Benzema with his unfortunate injury.
