Bellerin and Matias Vina, Betis priorities to replace Alex Moreno

Betis and Aston Villa have closed on Tuesday the transfer of defender Alex Moreno, for whom the English club will pay around 15 million euros, which will be made official as soon as the player passes the medical.

According to 'Al final de la Palmera' of 'ABC', the arrival of Matias Vina to the Andalusian team continues to progress in the last hours. The same media outlet reported that Betis and the Uruguayan player are on the same wavelength. On the other hand, the only stumbling block is to reach an agreement with Roma, who want to sell the left-back.

Apparently, the Italian side want to transfer or loan Vina with a compulsory purchase at the end of the season. However, the club only want to consider a loan with an option to keep the defender at the end of the season.

The possible return of Hector Bellerin is also looming. The Catalan winger has dropped down the pecking order at Barcelona and could leave in the winter.

It is a no-brainer that the former Arsenal defender is a right-back, while Alex Moreno is a left-back. However, according to 'Canal Sur', the sporting management are considering moving Sabaly, who can play on both flanks, to left-back and Bellerin to share the right flank with Aitor Ruibal.
