Belgium took the lead through Fernandinho's headed own goal

Brazil had made a very bright start to the game, being unlucky not to take the lead through a Thiago Silva's attempt which hit the Belgian post.

However, straight away Belgium broke on the South Americans and earned a corner on the left hand-side of the goal.

Nacer Chadli whipped the ball in to the danger area, and Fernandinho rose to head the ball clear.

However, he completely misjudged the effort as the ball cannoned off his head in to the Brazilian net behind him.

Belgium coach Roberto Martinez celebrated wildly on the touchline as his side took an unexpected lead.
