Begovic to sign for two years with Everton

Everton are looking to buy a new goalkeeper and Rafael Benitez is very close to getting hold of Asmir Begovic. 

The 34 year-old Bosnian keeper is very close to penning a new contract at Everton and the 'Daily Mail' says he has already passed his medical. 

In addition, the goalkeeper will join the Merseyside club for two years and will be the number two to England international Jordan Pickford. 

That said, his signing will see Begovic play less matches as he made 51 appearances for Bournemouth last term.
