Bayern Munich will not forget about Gerd Muller. The legendary striker passed away this Sunday aged 75, leaving behind an immeasurable legacy in the ranks of the Bavarian club.
This Tuesday, Bayern played their first match since the death of 'Torpedo' and, as expected, Julian Nagelsmann's side paid a special tribute. Players in the starting eleven entered the pitch in the warm up before the German Super Cup, wearing shirts paying particular homage to the club legend.
"In memory of Gerd Müller, who passed away on Sunday, our players are wearing warm-up shirts with a special print," the club posted on their social media.
