Nobody is surprised by the fact that Bayern can put you to the sword or that Robert Lewandowski once again showed why he is good enough to win the Ballon d'Or. Against Hoffenheim, the Pole scored a terrific goal.
Bayern were winning 1-0 thanks to a Gnabry goal and Hoffenheim were looking to level a game which they were struggling in. However, things got even more difficult for them after half an hour when the Bavarians attacked from their own half at breckneck spped.
Grillitisch lost the ball in the opposition box. Bayern booted the ball away, but the ball fell to Lewandowski in the centre circle.
The Pole looked to flick the ball on with his head to play Muller in, but he was unable to do so. His teammate had to fight to not lose the ball and he managed to give it back to the striker.
Lewandowski, from the edge of the box, hit an unstoppable shot straight into Baumann's top corner. The goalkeeper dived to try and reach the ball, but it was impossible for him to stop it. It was a great goal and Bayern were 2-0 up after half an hour.
