With CT and MRI scanners, X-ray and ultrasounds machines, Barnet's medical centre isn't that of your typical League Two side.
Chairman Tony Kleanthous, determined to see his side develop and compete at the highest level, is the mastermind behind the new facilities at Barnet: "The conception of [this business] was for first class imaging for elite sports people. But it doesn't make sense to have advanced imaging equipment stood idle when not in use, especially when the NHS is facing so many pressures," he said, referring to the facilities proposed use as part of the UK's health service.
"Patient care at the heart of communities will improve the health and wellbeing for everyone," he added.
Barnet, who currently sit second bottom of England's fourth-tier, could see themselves playing non-league football with a medical centre more advanced than Barcelona. Nevertheless, with the aim to help the community, the club's investment is certainly an admirable one.
