Barcelona youngster Sergi Samper is set to sign a new deal with the club, according to AS.
The 21-year-old, who came up through the club's famous La Masia youth ranks, has made 11 first-team appearances for the Catalan giants.
Although he only played 443 minutes of first-team football last season, a figure which looks to be similar for the forthcoming season, the youngster is prepared to commit his future to the club and put pen to paper on new a four-year deal.
Samper is a highly-rated defensive midfielder, and has previously drawn attention from Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
