According to ‘AS’, the first scans have revealed that Marc-Andre Ter Stegen has ruptured the patellar tendon in his right knee and will have to undergo surgery. The German goalkeeper will be out for between 7 and 8 months, which means he will almost certainly be out for the rest of the season.
