'Financial Fair Play' is driving Barcelona mad. The club need to free up some money in their wage bill to be able to bring new players to the Camp Nou, and that's what the board are working on.
Getting players out will be key when it comes to making signings, even though not everyone is on the list of players they're willing to get rid of. Gerard Romero claims that Jules Kounde, Ronald Araujo, Andreas Christensen and Alejandro Balde are untouchable.
Barca are more than happy with the three centre-backs and the left-back, meaning they'll do all that it takes to stop a club coming in for them. Only a massive offer could convince the club to reconsider.
If they get an offer over €90 million, Barca will evaluate the situation. If that does happen, departures which would've happened will be thought about, as there have to be some in order to get new players in.
Kounde in under contract until 2027, Araujo is tied to the 'Cules' until 2026, the same as Christensen. As for Balde, his contract is up in 2024, but the club are hoping to renew his deal soon, making him a Barca player until 2027, like the Frenchman.
